The band commemorated the milestone with a rooftop party in Nashville surrounded by family, friends and industry VIPs. AT THE HOLIDAYS The group rang in the holiday season in high fashion, giving fans a taste of new music with a Christmas EP of original songs and a few nostalgic classics. They performed the new tracks on a massive co-headlining holiday outing with for KING & COUNTRY. In addition, they contributed a brand new original song to animated ¯lm, The Star, a family-friendly twist on the nativity story as told from the perspective of the animals. ON THE ROAD Casting Crowns has logged countless miles selling out arenas across the country on “The Very Next Thing Tour,” named after their latest No. 1 selling album. Matt Maher, Danny Gokey, Unspoken, Hannah Kerr and I Am They have all served as opening acts throughout the length of the tour, which has lasted the better part of two years and achieved recordbreaking attendance. OFF THE ROAD At home, the band continues to stay true to their calling in ministry, contributing their time and talents to their respective home churches. Lead singer Mark Hall is the student pastor at Eagle’s Landing First Baptist Church, right outside of Atlanta. He’s been in youth ministry for more than 25 years.
