C OM # K L O V E F A N AWA R D S 3 1 ELISABETH HasselbEck KIRK CAMERON Kirk Cameron is best known for his role as charming older brother Mike Seaver on popular sitcom “Growing Pains.” In addition, Cameron has starred in Fireproof and the Left Behind movies and co-hosted “The Way of the Master” television series. His most recent work includes family films Saving Christmas (nominated for the Film & TV Impact Award tonight) and Mercy Rule, as well as documentaries Unstoppable and Monumental. Cameron also travels across the country teaching people how to share their faith and live out a Christ-centered marriage. He and his wife, Chelsea, are the founders of Camp Firefly, a camp for seriously ill children and their families. Together, they live in California with their six children. Over the course of her career, she has interviewed numerous celebrities and politicians, including Presidents George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. Moreover, as a woman with Celiac Disease, she works closely with the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University and has written two New York Times bestsellers, The G-Free Diet and the cookbook, Deliciously G-Free. She and her husband, former professional athlete Tim Hasselbeck, have three children.
